Boom NT2 attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and secure digital learning environments. That is why NT2 School has been officially ISO 27001:2022 certified for information security since July 2025. In this article, you can read exactly what that means.

ISO certification

NT2 School is Boom NT2's digital learning environment. Most publications purchased on nt2.nl come with a license for NT2 School. For many students and teachers, this learning environment forms the basis of their NT2 lessons. We believe it is essential that the data of institutions, teachers, and students is well protected.

An independent audit by Dekra confirms that Boom guarantees this protection in accordance with the ISO standard. That is why, on July 11, 2025, NT2 School was awarded ISO 27001:2022 certification for information security. NT2 School is reassessed annually to ensure that it continues to meet this standard.

Awareness

ISO certification is not something you get just like that. Information security starts with awareness. At Boom, we handle sensitive information such as student and client data with care in all departments. This starts with the training of new colleagues, is a starting point for software development and coordination with IT suppliers, and plays an important role in customer support. Boom is also affiliated with the education privacy covenant.

NT2 School is now ISO certified, but Boom is aware that information security is a subject that requires continuous maintenance. That is why, among other things, an annual audit is carried out. During this audit, the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle is repeated with the aim of continuously improving the quality of information security.
