What is Taaly?

Whether you are just starting out or already have some experience, Taaly offers a personalized, flexible, and fun way to learn. The platform helps non-native speakers improve their Dutch so they can more easily participate in society and the job market. Taaly brings together people who want to learn and people who want to help.

How it works

After purchasing this product, you will receive a voucher code by email. This code gives you access to eight 30-minute sessions with a language buddy. How to get started:

1. Download the Taaly app (available in the App Store and Google Play)
2. Create an account
3. Click on ‘Karma’ in the top left of the app.
4. Activate your voucher code
5. Book a session with a Language Buddy
6. Start the video call – this is the best part!

Who are the Language Buddies?

Language Buddies are volunteers who want to contribute to society. They enjoy helping language learners practice their Dutch in a relaxed conversation.

Practice with AI

Are you nervous about talking to a Language Buddy? No problem! Taaly also offers the option to practice with an AI Language Buddy. This allows you to practice speaking at your own pace and at any time.
