Grammar rules

As an NT2 teacher, you soon notice that it is difficult to properly answer all students' questions about grammatical forms. These are mostly about aspects of grammar whose rules the Dutch do not know, even if they have studied Dutch. For us, those forms are known from the moment we learn to speak as toddlers. So we learn the grammatical forms unnoticed and do not know the rules behind them.
