With SchrijfBeter, NT2-learners improve their spelling by practicing recognizing Dutch sounds. Because limited listening skills often lead to spelling mistakes, SchrijfBeter combines listening and writing in sixteen thematic series. Each series focuses on a specific type of word, such as words with a silent e, ie/i words, international words, and colloquial forms such as issiesiek. The learning environment works smoothly on both laptops and phones, so students can practice anytime, anywhere.

Content

All sixteen series follow the same structure, making it easy to understand and navigate. Each series includes three types of exercises:

• Hearing 10 words: learners decide whether the spelling is correct or incorrect
• Flashing 10 words: learners spell the word correctly
• Hearing 10 words: learners write down the word and then check their own spelling

Level

SchrijfBeter is suitable for both beginner and advanced learners. Beginners work with the same set of ten words and sentences in each series, while advanced learners receive different words and sentences.
