The Nederlands-series

In this basic method, the emphasis is on language use in the daily lives of studying or working non-native speakers. Characteristic for this method is the clear structure, the appealing topics, the variety of assignments and the activating work forms.

Of course, all language skills are trained: speaking, listening, reading and writing are extensively covered. This method is characterized by its explicit attention to pronunciation and vocabulary acquisition. In all sections the emphasis is on the use of Dutch in everyday communicative situations. The lessons contain appealing assignments, active and varied work forms and reflection assignments for students. Grammar is used as a tool, not as a learning objective in itself, and attention is paid to extracurricular learning.

This method is designed for non-native speakers who are theoretically educated and have the ability to process the material independently and critically examine their own progress and deficiencies. The assignments and the themes dealt with are in line with the interests of this group. Suitable as preparation for Staatsexamen NT2 I and II.
