Reading at the ISK

With Leesgoed, students at the ISK discover that reading at Alfa level is fun and achievable. Twenty recognizable themes, including sports, friendship, emotions, travel, and school, motivate students to practice their reading skills.

Picture cards, stories, and varied assignments

Each theme consists of a colorful picture card about the theme to view and discuss with the teacher, a story at Alfa C and A1 level, and varied and fun assignments that ensure repetition, understanding, and personal language use. Online you'll find extra exercises for level A1.

Vocabulary and reading

This allows students to build their vocabulary step by step and improve reading skills. In addition, the texts and assignments provide plenty of material for discussions about life and going to school in the Netherlands. The themes can be covered in a different order, so that as a teacher you can choose a theme that suits your lesson at that moment.
