Bookpresenation Nederlands in gang
Maak kennis met de herziene editie
In early July, the fully revised edition of Nederlands in gang will be published; this is the NT2 course for non-native speakers with a theoretical background, designed to prepare learners for CEFR Level A2. To help you transition to this new edition, we are organising an online book presentation. The authors, Berna de Boer, Simone Pentermann and Margaret van der Kamp, will spend an hour showing what has changed and what has been retained in this new edition.

This book presentation is suitable for anyone who is already using the current edition or who would like to familiarise themselves with Nederlands in gang. In one hour, the authors will highlight what has changed and what has remained the same in this new edition. There will also be plenty of time set aside for questions to the authors.
After attending this presentation, you will be well prepared to teach using this new edition.

Would you like to know what’s changed? Here are the main changes:
- Three new themes: ‘In a hotel’, ‘In a cultural centre’ and ‘At work’.
- The dialogues and exercises in all chapters have been updated
- The number of speaking exercises and teaching methods has been significantly expanded
- Grammar is presented with more explanation and interactive exercises
- Integrated pronunciation guide
- Word stress in the glossaries
- A completely revamped website with interactive exercises. Updated grammar and pronunciation videos can also be found here.
Due to the thorough revision, it is not possible to use two different editions in the classroom.
The Dutch Series
Nederlands in gang, together with Nederlands in actie, Nederlands op niveau, Nederlands naar perfectie en Nederlands naar de top forms the successful communicative NT2 curriculum that leads to CEFR level C1+. The focus is on language use in the daily lives of highly educated students or working adults. This learning pathway is characterised by its clear structure, engaging topics, varied assignments and stimulating teaching methods.
