Look at the pictures and name what you see. 70 cards with words in recognisable themes: indoors, outdoors, food and drink, objects, clothes and animals. All words consist of one syllable and are therefore ideal for practice. The Miffy practice cards can be used separately and fit in with the book Nijntje oefent korte woordjes. Because of the simplicity of Dick Bruna's illustrations, they are often used in speech therapy practice. The 'Miffy practises' series was developed in close cooperation with speech therapists and aims to stimulate vocabulary. This can be done in two ways: passively - pointing to the correct picture after hearing a word actively - naming the correct word after seeing a picture.
