Tim Fransen

Tim Fransen (1988) is cabaretier en filosoof. Hij rondde de studies filosofie en psychologie cum laude af aan de UvA.

 

Sinds 2011 is hij lid van het collectief Comedytrain. Met zijn eerste filosofische cabaretvoorstelling Het failliet van de moderne tijd won hij de Neerlands Hoop, de prijs voor het grootste cabarettalent. Voor zijn tweede solovoorstelling Het kromme hout der mensheid ontving hij de Poelifinario.

 

Dit najaar debuteerde Tim Fransen als schrijver met zijn filosofische boek Brieven aan Koos. Hij schrijft het thema-essay voor de Maand van de Filosofie 2019 over de stuntelende mens.
