I have an integration requirement, and I want to enrol in an MBO programme after integration.

To be admitted to an MBO programme after your integration, you will need a diploma for the State Examination NT2 Programme I. Your Dutch language proficiency must be at the B1 level to pass this exam. In addition to the State Examination NT2 Programme I, you also need to take two separate exam sections: Knowledge of Dutch Society (Kennis van de Nederlandse Maatschappij, KNM) and Orientation on the Dutch Labour Market (Oriëntatie op de Nederlandse Arbeidsmarkt, ONA). Did you become subject to the integration requirement after 1 October 2017? Then you must also sign the participation declaration.

With a diploma from this exam, you show that you master Dutch at the B2 level, and that can help in getting hired for a job.
