De voetballer

Karim is looking for work. He does not know that many people in his village yet. That all changes when he meets Sofie. She may not be able to help him find a job, but she can help him attain a big dream of his, playing football in a real team.

'Wie is dat meisje?', vraagt zijn moeder.

'Ze heet Sofie,' zegt Karim. 'Ze komt af en toe naar het plein.' 

'Voetbalt ze ook?'

'Een beetje', zegt Karim.
