Writing skills for ISK students

In Ster in schrijven (Star in Writing), young people develop their writing skills in a playful way. Together with Bem, Milka, Mo, Rada, and Tuu, they read recognizable and topical texts and process them in varied writing assignments. The themes are relevant to their lives: from health and money to justice and injustice, talent, and identity.

In this part, for example, students write about banning vaping, canceling a subscription, children's rights, their own talents, or a day on their phone. This allows them to practice language in situations that really suit them and experience how fun and valuable writing can be.
